My daughter and I enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea at this beautiful Victorian mansion. We received excellent service from Jordyn who gave us a nice overview of the menu items. The savory sandwiches were served on soft, fresh bread and the scones and dessert items were lovely. We each enjoyed a very generous size pot of tea. Jordyn invited us to look around the mansion, including the upstairs floor. The public rooms & guest rooms are beautifully decorated with period decor.
It is a fantastic old house. If you like Victorians, this is one to stay in. The room was clean and well decorated. The staff was great, but were overwhelmed by the number of afternoon tea visitors. Easy parking. The bedding was great. This is not a new Hilton, so don't expect shiny new plumbing. The decorations throughout the house was impressive.
